“proud of you girls 🤍 good luck at championships!” Simone Biles posed alongside the gymnasts, including her friend and former teammate, Joscelyn Roberson, on July 19, from the US Classic, Chicago. Did it come as a surprise? Well, a big NO! Rather, it was a wholesome moment, Roberson needed her, and the GOAT took time out of her busy schedule for her. Classic Simone! Later in the post-meet interview, Roberson mentioned, “she (Biles) has to leave like tomorrow.” And today Simone did left the city, but not without dropping an update!

Simone Biles took to her Instagram story today to post a picture sitting on the window seat of the jet of a shot of the clouds. It wasn’t only the picture that grabbed the attention, but rather it was her caption: “chi town, I’ll be back.” And she could return to Chicago when her husband, Jonathan Owens, steps back on the field. After all, the 2025 NFL preseason will officially kick off on Thursday, August 7, and Jonathan Owens’ team, the Chicago Bears, first preseason game on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at Soldier Field, the home stadium, against the Miami Dolphins. Not just that, but now the couple even has a place to call home in the city!

The couple has spent over a year lovingly building their dream lakefront home from the ground up. In October, the house was nearly finished. It had a bold interior design, a lake-facing pool and spa, a home theater, and a balcony. Also, very recently, on May 16, the gymnast posted a snapshot from a Porsche showroom, “looking at cars today for our Chicago home.” Later that day, she uploaded another story where two keys could be seen. Yes, she had bought the car.

Biles has been off the mats since the Paris Olympics and is yet to announce her participation in any gymnastics meet. So that means she would probably be supporting her husband just like last year.

Simone Biles is Jonathan Owens’ biggest cheerleader

Simone Biles has supported her husband throughout the 2024 season. She even missed her holidays. Yep, you heard that right, in an interview she confessed, “This time of year [Holiday Season] usually revolves around football. We don’t have set traditions because he’s either playing on the holiday, the day after, or the day before,”. She was not in Ohio or Texas during the Christmas of 2024, as Owens had a game the very next day. On November 28, she flew via private jet to Detroit to cheer him during the Bears vs. Lions game on Thanksgiving, even posting stories mid-flight—one notably captioned “otw to Detroit for some Thanksgiving football”.

She was a regular in the stands for Owens’ games in style! Simone Biles once sported a black and orange jacket that had the Bears logo on one side and read “CHI Town” on the other. It also had a sleeve that said “bear down” and Owens’ name and uniform number, 36, stitched on the back. While in another instance, she proudly donned a two-piece custom set covered all over with pictures of Owens, and his jersey number 36. Moreover, Simone and Jonathan have a pre-game ritual as well!

“I just let him do him because I know how stressful that can be sometimes,” she said in an interview. “But he loves to come see me because he usually has to stay at the team hotel, so he loves to come see me, kiss me goodbye.” Last year, Simone was all out to support JO and his team!
