It seems like Simone Biles has truly devoted herself to supporting Jonathan Owens in the most extravagant way possible. And who knows… She might just be the lucky charm for the Chicago Bears’ recent victory over the Las Vegas Raiders by a 25-24 score. Of course, the fans were pretty focused on the nail-biting game. But Biles was also successful in garnering a boatload of attention for her outfit to the game. And some more with preposterous boots that she showcased on her social media.

For the game, her ensemble was a white jersey-style dress, featuring ‘Chicago’ lettering in bold black font. On the sleeves, large ’36’ numbers were stamped to highlight Owens’ jersey number and give it a retro sports vibe. She elevated the look with knee-high glossy black lace-up boots. That was an edgy contrast to the casual nature of the jersey dress. And to complete the look, Biles added a sleek black shoulder bag and slim sunglasses. But there was another pair of boots that stole the spotlight.

Simone Biles was spotted trying on another pair of black boots from her wardrobe. The focus was clearly on the huge, exaggerated boots. They looked ultra-chunky and had massive soles. The footwear was decorated with white crisscrossing laces that looked like ropes. They resembled a mix of moon boots and runway-ready experimental footwear. She even dropped in a regular sneaker to highlight its ginormous size with a caption that read, “Forgot this gem.”

Well, it was the confident fusion of sporty chic and urban edge that seemed to complete the look for Biles. The oversized boots seemingly complemented her jersey dress and pushed her attire from loungewear to a runway-worthy statement. Runway-worthy, yes, but if you ask if it was functional, the answer is a resounding no.

The Olympian shared a few more snaps on her Instagram stories of pre and post-game shenanigans. The highlights began with a picture of her husband adjusting his helmet followed by one more of the couple smooching. And then began her wardrobe tour. The pictures also gave a glimpse into Biles’ game half-time mandatory peanut butter whiskey shot ritual.

Well, this certainly wasn’t ‘big’ enough to stop her from celebrating the Bears’ big win.

To celebrate the win, Simone Biles and her husband’s team visited ‘Papi Steak’ in Las Vegas. And like the trend that’s going on in the steakhouse, they cheered loudly as the steak got branded with the ‘Papi Steak’ logo. It was nothing short of a jolly moment. But let’s keep our focus on the uncomfortable wardrobe.

Biles has an entire closet of things she deems ‘forbidden’. Let’s take a look at that, shall we?

Simone Biles’ forbidden Olympic closet

In the Netflix documentary ‘Simone Biles Rising’, the opening scenes show the Olympic champion revealing her forbidden Olympic closet. It contained Team USA clothing and a few other items. There was a bag filled with Team USA pins and a few other items that she planned to trade in Tokyo. But alas! Her twisties spoiled it all, and she had to pull out of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

There was also an N95 mask that she compared to a dog’s muzzle. Pandemic days, right! But it was the flight ticket from San Francisco to Tokyo that seemed to extract a bit more emotion from her. Simone Biles reflected on the missed chances at the 2020 Olympic Games and said, “A lot of this stuff is good keepsake, but it’s in this closet because I never really come in this room. I used to sit here and just cry and cry and cry — ask God why this happened to me.”

But looking at the Team USA leotard, she confessed that the closet has now become a good spot for the uniform. As she closed the doors behind her, she claimed, “Even touching it is like ugh — ee, ugh. But, you know, sometimes you have to take that power back.”

But what do you think of the outfit that Simone Biles wore to the Bears vs. Raiders game? And while you’re at it, don’t forget to drop your view of the massive boots.
