Simone Biles’ visit to Buenos Aires for the gymnastics clinic and motivational conference titled ‘The Power of Believing’ left the entire city in awe. The event was part of the city’s designation as the World Capital of Sport for 2027. But little did the ‘Queen of Flips’ know that her presence at the Villa Soldati Olympic Park would welcome a tsunami of admirers. And as she left Argentina, the gymnastics community of the South American country linked together with the perfect reaction.

Taking to Instagram, the 11-time Olympic medalist shared a few visuals, featuring her stance in Buenos Aires. There were visuals where she was guiding the young talents of Argentina, interacting with the public at the motivational conference, and enjoying herself with some fine Argentinian wine. But as she bid farewell to the country, her heart felt a bit heavy.

This was reflected in the caption, that read, “Going home with a full heart 🤍 Thank you, Argentina for a warm welcome to your country, I truly felt like family during my visit! thanks for sharing all of the malbecs, empanadas, mate & dulce de leche with me!! see you later! 🇦🇷”

Biles’ IG Stories were also filled with memoirs of her visit. The stories included a few glimpses of the artist from her ‘Tango Dinner’, her visit to a famous winery named Estancia Vigil. She shared a picture of young gymnastics aspirants holding a placard that read, “SIMONE, YOU ARE OUR INSPIRATION.” And her last story had a picture of her luggage dump that weighed 33 kg (~72.75 lbs).

After all, her admirers filled her luggage with wine, dulce de leche, and gifts. She thanked the Argentinian gymnastics community in the caption and signed off before boarding the flight to the USA. But the gymnastics community in Argentina was still in awe of her visit. Right after Simone Biles dropped the cascade of posts on Instagram, the Argentinians took to the comments and sent her a gift that’s more valuable than what she took home. For many, getting a visit from someone like Simone Biles was nothing but an honorable moment.
