Simone Biles seldom leaves a chance to cheer for her husband, Jonathan Owens. And rooting for the Chicago Bears (and her husband, of course) comes with an opportunity for Biles to show off her fashion sense, as well.

Back in November 2024, as Owens and his team went against the Green Bay Packers, Biles stood by the stands donning a black and orange varsity jacket, featuring the Bears’ logo on one side, and ‘CHI TOWN’ written on the other. On the back, she had ‘OWENS’ written in huge orange letters, with her husband’s jersey number 36 below it. Needless to say, she seemed like the winner of the best cheerleader award. And now, things just got a bit more glamorous. 

Taking to TikTok, the queen of flips provided an outfit check as she got ready to raise Owens’ spirit at the Bears’ first pre-season game against the Miami Dolphins at Soldier Field in Chicago. The 11-time Olympic medalist wore denim cut-off shorts, white high-kneed boots, a customized white and orange T-shirt that yelled ‘OWENS,’ and a $265 orange Kuei Bag with silver hardware and genuine leather. 

Biles exclaimed in the video, “So, we’re at the Bears’ first pre-season game. And I’m gonna do an outfit check. Got my little orange purse to match my shirt. I got my shirt off of Etsy, but then I cut it to make it my own. Cute little halter. Learned it from Pinterest. Some blue jeans, and some boots.”

The couple received quite some love as Simone Biles shared some heartwarming moments through Instagram.  

Now, the event marked Jonathan Owens’ 8th year in NFL. And there was no way Biles could have taken a step back from cheering for her husband and his team. Seems like the best cheerleader for the Bears, doesn’t she!

But the artistic gymnast’s life as a fashion influencer might just be in its beginning phase. Yes, a life in the fashion industry might be the next big thing for Simon Biles following her retirement from active competition.

During a recent conversation with The Olympics Podcast, Biles revealed that she’s currently engaged in projects with Friends of the Children, Make a Wish Foundation, and, of course, Athleta. She revealed, “We’re trying to enter the fashion industry and beauty industry. Some of the things I can’t talk about, but they are in the works, and it’s gonna be really exciting. But yeah. There’s always a project to be made, even if that’s just like the post-Olympic tour, or trying to have involvement in the 2028 Olympics. So yeah, that’s kind of like what’s on the horizon.” 

Simone Biles often has a sparkle in her eyes when she talks about fashion and beauty. After all, fashion weeks were one of the things that allowed the professional athletes to take a break and be known as someone who’s more than a gymnast. She claimed, “We are getting to showcase our style off the mat, and it’s been really exciting.” 

Now that the 28-year-old is seriously considering retirement, we might actually get to see Biles as a fashion industry star. And the first applause will definitely be that of Owens. Then comes the turn of the +12.3M followers on social media.
