And let us tell you, she once named a very controversial favorite—the St Louis-style slice from Chicago; Preferably from a chain called Imo’s. Back in 2021, she explained that what she loves about that pizza is the provel cheese. So, Jonathan Owens‘ stint with the Chicago Bears has indirectly given the gymnast more opportunities to indulge. But for now, it is a temporary adieu to the city!

Safety Jonathan and his wife Simone Biles had no reason to extend their stay in the Windy City, considering the Bears’ season is done. But any special message from Biles before leaving the city? Yes, on January 26, the gymnast wrote a few words on her Instagram story. It read:

“Farewell to our time in chicago see you in a few months.” The story had a snapshot in the background showing Simone and JO’s hands raising a toast. Special! Isn’t it?

In the next story, she gave her fans a hit as to where they were going. Any guesses? Well, sharing a picture of her pet dog, she wrote: “Lil mamas cross country trip. On her way back to Houston w/the best @rfrdacademy.” So it looks like they are packing their bags to spend some time in Houston with Biles’ family.

The scene and the words might take the ardent fans of Simone Biles or the Chicago Bears to March last year when Biles’ numerous tweets sparked curiosity. If you fall into those categories, you may already know about her tweet made on March 12. Well, the tweet read, “CHICAGO HERE HE COMES.” That was the final confirmation of Owens’ entry into the Bears’ mix. But things don’t end here.

On March 12, she penned another tweet. It read, “also I just love the city of Chicago.” In the next nine months, fans spotted her at a couple of games, supporting her husband’s side. However, things came to a halt after the Bears’ untimely exit before the postseason. Would this goodbye put shade on Simone Biles’ memorable presence at the Chicago Bears games?

For Simone Biles, the seven-time Olympic champion, marking her attendance in Jonathan Owens’ game is special. Last year, she had a chance to attend JO’s game before Thanksgiving. On November 24, Owens’s Chicago Bears were scheduled to play against the Minnesota Vikings.

The Olympian made the occasion far more special by not only attending in the stadium but also kissing Owens before the game on the sidelines. PDA? The sign of love took the floor once again on December 22.

During the game against the Seattle Seahawks at Soldier Field in Chicago, Biles arrived dressed in a unique outfit dedicated to Owens—a sweatsuit adorned with images of his face. Something unexpected in a football game! So while fans wait for the new NFL season to start, they can surely remember these sweet memories.
