Captioning the picture, Maher wrote, “Real happy I’m not on this season because there are some serious dancers on here. Clearly, Maher is shocked by that, and Stephen has expressed his thoughts, evidently stunned by the performances. It makes you wonder how they did do.
Illona Maher and Stephen Nedoroscik in DWTS
Stephen entered DWTS with the words, “There’s been a lot of female gymnasts on this show, and a couple of them even won, but I’m the first male here, and I’m hoping to make my mark this season.” He kicked off the season with a jive to Queen’s “Don’t Stop Me Now,” for which the judges gave him 21/30. Among his finest acts was on Halloween.
On that day, he delivered a dark contemporary dance inspired by the fear of the dark. His composition, lifts, and narration worked to his advantage, as he reached 28/30, the best result he had achieved until then, and received compliments on his technique and emotional acting.
Maher entered DWTS with the words, “I’m this very big, muscular woman, but I also feel so beautiful and feminine. I mean, you know, I grew up not very comfortable, so I want to now make it easier for young girls to love your body. I tackle the game like a beast, but in the ballroom I’m bringing the beauty.” During the premiere of the 33rd season, Ilona Maher and her partner Alan Bersten danced a cha-cha to a song by Shania Twain titled: Man! I Feel Like a Woman! All the judges gave her a 6, totalling 18/30.

Maher and Bersten danced a freestyle to Femininomenon in the finale. They changed costumes and told a story about empowerment, impressing the judges with a score of 57/60 and securing the season 33 runner-up position. Stephen Nedoroscik and Rylee Arnold performed a freestyle to Coldplay’s Viva la Vida, combining gymnastics and ballroom.
They began their performance on a pommel horse and invited other teammates to join in, delivering an emotional routine that earned the judges a perfect 30/30 and placed them fourth. Despite the outstanding performances, the victor of the season was Joey Graziadei. What do you think of their performances?
