The equestrian events at the Tokyo Olympics 2021 have the potential to draw many viewers. From team events to individual showcases, this year’s US team and the rest of the favourites to clinch the medals are in special form. With the games beginning in a month, this is the schedule for the equestrian events.
Schedule for Equestrian at Tokyo Olympics 2021
Three events are part of the equestrian category for this year’s Olympic Games. With the games beginning on July 23rd, the first equestrian event commences on July 24th with Day 1 of the Dressage Grand Prix. All the timings are according to NBC’s programming and Eastern Standard Time.

Day 10 [August 4] | Jumping Individual Final- Individual Jumping [3:30 pm] |
Day 11 [August 6] | Jumping Team Qualifier- Team Jumping [3:30 pm] |
Day 12 [August 7] | Jumping Team Final- Team Jumping [3:30 pm] |
According to the schedule, the medal presentation ceremony takes place on the 7th of August after the Jumping Team Final.

Players to watch out for in equestrian

The equestrian events have a ton of bright stars ready to showcase their talent to the world. Along with them are certain legends of the sport, including past medal winners and Olympians. Of all the teams so far, the US team has looked the most impressive. With Phillip Dutton leading the eventing team and Steffen Peters in dressage, they have a high chance of attaining a high medal tally.
In Rio 2016, the German team stomped the US team on the path to a silver medal. A major reason for their success was Michael Jung, who also clinched gold in the individual eventing category. He returns to the Olympics hungry to win gold in Tokyo.
