Tokyo Olympics 2021 is around the corner and most countries have finalized their Tokyo-bound shooters. The mega-quadrennial games will begin on the 23rd of July.
The shooting powerhouse, USA, has completed the Olympic qualifiers for the shooting sport. A blend of young and experienced shooters has made it to the final contingent.
The chance to be part of the Olympic team is a lifetime opportunity. Exceptionally, Nick Mowrer has reached a feat no American ever has. Nick qualified to compete in the 10m pistol and 50m rifle, 3 positions event at Tokyo Olympics.

Sergeant Nick will compete in three events
Sergeant Nick Mowrer, being the quintessential player, competes in two extremely diverse events. It is an unusual quality for a shooter to ace both pistol and rifle events. Mowrer will also represent the US in the 10m air pistol mixed event.
Nick will make an Olympic comeback after 8 years as he last competed in the 2012 London Olympics. However, he only competed in the 50m pistol, which is no longer an Olympic event.

The Tokyo-bound shooter started shooting at a young age as it was a tradition for the Mowrer family. The talented Nick competes in different disciplines of shooting and doesn’t restrict himself.
The 32-year-old will compete in the 10m air pistol, 50m rifle 3 positions, and 10m air pistol mixed team event at the Tokyo Olympics.

Vincent Hancock will aim for his third at Tokyo Olympics 2021
The two-time Olympic gold medalist Vincent Hancock will lead the American shooting team for Tokyo Olympics. Hancock competes in the skeet event and has been very successful at the Olympics. He is one of the best medal hopes for the USA.

Other Olympians in the fray are Lucas Kozeniesky (10m air rifle), Patrick Sunderman (50m rifles, 3P), James Hall (10m air pistol), and Sandra Uptagrafft (25m pistol).
Young rifle shooter Mary Tucker will compete in her maiden Olympic Games. Tucker will do double duty in 10m air rifle and 50m rifle, 3 positions event.
Unfortunately, shooting legend and six-time Olympic medalist, Kimberly Rhodes won’t be competing at the Tokyo Olympics. Another successful American shooter Corey Cogdell also missed out on the team.
