VIDEO: Sha’Carri Richardson Partners With Kanye West in New Commercial Ahead of Tokyo Olympics 2020
Sha’Carri Richardson has been the topic of not only the track and field world but by the general public over the last month. After being suspended and prevented from competing at the Olympics, the athlete has become the front for the discussion of Marijuana’s position in the sports world.
Moreover, the US Anti Doping Agency’s decision to hand her a suspension ahead of the Olympics was blasted by other athletes and fans in unison. Seen as the 100m favorite, she was the only hope of the nation to end Jamaican dominance in the event.
Although she won’t be heading to Tokyo, Sha’Carri Richardson has ket herself in the limelight. Recently, Beats by Dre dropped a commercial featuring her, backed by Kanye West’s ‘No Child Left Behind’ track which is set to release along with his new album ‘Donga’ later this week. Richardson is seen preparing a takeoff for a sprint and sporting the Beats by Dre earphones.

Kanye West aims at releasing his new album through public listening. Booking the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, he will be dropping his much-anticipated album ‘Donga’. In fact, he has also donated tickets so fans can attend the listening.

The song featured in this commercial is a near peak of the one in the album and further builds up the hype for West’s next endeavor in the music world. Dr. Dre on the other hand continues to enjoy success with his company.

With the Tokyo Games just around the corner, featuring Sha’Carri Richardson in the commercial was a smart move. Even though she is not going to compete, her name is associated a lot when one brings up the topic of the Olympics.
