Yulimar Rojas kicks off at the Barcelona vs Getafe match

The Olympic gold medalist has been associated with FC Barcelona since 2016. It happened after she bagged the Olympic silver medal in Rio.

Yulimar Rojas competes in Barca colors at the national competitions. Notably, she was a part of the Barca team who ended Valencia’s 18-year-old domination of Indoor Copa de le Reina.

Celebrating and honoring her victory, Yulimar kicked off the ball at the FC Barcelona vs Getafe match. Here is the video of the Olympic gold medalist kicking off the ball in her own style.

Barcelona gets victory at home ground

An Olympic gold medalist kicking off the ball proved to be a lucky charm for the home team. Barca remain unbeaten in La Liga as they won against Getafe with a scoreline of 2-1. They will go into the first international break of the season with 7 points. They are currently fourth in the La Liga table, however, they are tied on points with the league leaders, Real Madrid.
