“Oh you’re gonna make me cry,” said an emotional Sha’Carri Richardson last month as she was bidding her dog a farewell from the other side of the glass window. While the little canine was trying to figure out where he was, Richardson and her beau, Christian Coleman, who were dropping him off at a K9 training academy in Orlando, knew that they had to be prepared for the long distance now. But not anymore, as the athlete just dropped a new update!
Sha’Carri Richardson is extremely close to her furry mates. No wonder, after dropping Champion off, she captioned her post saying, “We’re definitely missing him, but he’s in great hands.” It’s her understanding of the importance of training and her trust in the academy that would have made the separation a bit easier. However, that’s ending soon!
Yes, very soon, Sha’Carri Richardson will reunite with Champion, as she informed in a recent update. On June 16, Richardson took to her Instagram story and wrote, “Somebody coming home sooon!!!!” With this text, she’d dropped a boomerang with her dog Champion seated on the back seat of the car and herself in the front, and a huge red heart emoji.

So yeah, Richardson is eagerly awaiting Champion’s return from training. And it’s easy to see why she would be excited. After all, she loves Champion, who is either a black Cane Corso or Mastiff mix. Back in April, she’d even added a story with him relaxing inside the car, while Richardson wrote, “I love you soooo much” for him. So yeah, her love for Champion is simply at another level.

However, it’s unclear if the dog belongs to her or Coleman. But the latter seems difficult now, because while Coleman and Richardson were together when they dropped Champion off, things have now changed. Champion will now come back home to probably just one of them receiving him with all their affection. And that’s because there might be some trouble in paradise. While one reunion seems imminent, another relationship may be facing strain

Another personal shift for Sha’Carri Richardson?
Well, there is no confirmation yet, but speculation is certainly circulating. Just 3 days back, Sha’Carri Richardson added an X post that read, “One day I will receive the love I give out.” This seemingly deep and painful post came under another post that showed that Coleman and Richardson have unfollowed each other on Instagram.
This isn’t the first time we’re getting such a scare, though. This year, around February, the same thing happened: the unfollowing pattern, followed by Sha’Carri Richardson’s cryptic stories like “Solo” or “Me, Myself, and I.” So yeah, there are chances that only Richardson goes to pick Champion up. Will that bring back a wave of memories? Do you think Champion’s return might bring comfort in a time of personal change? Let us know what you think!
