“Remember the name Sha’Carri Richardson 😎,” wrote the sprinter on X back in 2015—when social media wasn’t as big, and her professional debut was still ahead of her. After winning 4x100m gold, she quoted that old tweet with, “And there’s more to come babygirl 🩵.” While she was likely referring to medals, it also feels symbolic of the good times rolling in for the World Champion.

This season tested her resilience: from a fourth-place finish at the Tokyo Golden Grand Prix (11.47) to ninth at the Prefontaine Classic (11.19), her form dipped. The struggles continued as she lost her 100m World title (10.94 – 5th). But the 4x100m relay put her back on the podium, and now, Nike has added more good news to her year.

Her latest Instagram post announced the launch of NikeSKIMS: “I feel fierce knowing I can look and feel this good while working hard. NikeSKIMS arrives September 26. @nike @skims.” The new women’s fitness brand is a partnership between Nike, SKIMS (Kim Kardashian’s company), and the sportswear giant named after the Greek goddess of victory. According to the press release: “Built from Nike’s unparalleled relationship with athletes and SKIMS’ solutions-first approach, NikeSKIMS delivers what no other brand can: a new aesthetic and system of dress, obsessively crafted for the body—from the studio to the gym and beyond.”

It ties in perfectly with Richardson’s own words featured in the campaign: “It is quite remarkable what our bodies can do, and that’s why it’s so important to recognize, appreciate, and celebrate every woman’s body.” Fans flooded the comments with excitement: “😍😍😍😍😍SLAYED🤎🍫🌟.” A Nike collab and fan love—life looks sweet again for the 2023 World Champion.

In an interview, the 25-year-old reinforced her confidence: “Wearing NikeSKIMS makes me feel confident and unrestricted. I feel fierce knowing I can look and feel this good while working hard.” Confidence has never been in short supply for the Olympic gold medalist, but this partnership might amplify it even further—setting the stage for a strong comeback season.

This isn’t her only big collaboration. Back in May, Turtles®, the original caramel nut cluster brand, partnered with Sha’Carri Richardson for its “It’s Slow Good” campaign. “Growing up, Turtles was always a treat—something we celebrated with. So when the opportunity came to partner with Turtles, it just felt right. For me, it’s not just candy—it’s about connection,” she said at the time. But while that was sweet, the Nike x SKIMS campaign has fans truly in awe.

Her never-give-up attitude has been a constant theme: battling injury early in the season, struggling on the track, navigating off-track drama — yet still finishing strong. Fans connect deeply with that spirit. One wrote, “I would love to do your nails @itsshacarri.”

Nails have been part of Richardson’s signature flair, channeling FloJo vibes at Worlds. She sported soft peach, pink, gold, and green blended nails: gems on her index and middle fingers, a 3D floral design on her ring finger, and golden swirls on her pinky. Another fan added: “Amazing look and color. You wear it well! The statement speaks truth and volume about a woman’s fierce body. It starts with the mind first. Congratulations on the journey—enjoy it.”
