Serena Williams introduced Qai Qai to the world in 2018

Ever since the doll was first revealed to the world, it has become a huge sensation on social media, with many pictures of the doll’s face digitized and animated to have various expressions. Interestingly, Qai Qai got her name from Williams’s nephew.

Yesterday, there was a short clip posted, where Qai Qai’s dance steps were being followed by none other than the highly talented pop star Shakira. In the video, the doll can be seen displaying some fancy footwork, and Shakira brilliantly kept up with the pace and tempo.

Qai Qai is now available for purchase

Qai Qai has social media accounts on Instagram and Twitter. Once, there were some images that showed Qai Qai being neglected. This created public concern where social media fans used the hashtag #QQPS (Qai Qai Protective Services). The number of followers the doll has is more than what some players on tour have.

Qai Qai is an animated doll digitally created and inserted into photographs. From October 2020 onwards, these dolls were made available to be purchased on Amazon.
