Chingiz “Chinga” Allazov is knocking on the door of Superbon Singha Mawynn’s ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Title, and he refuses to be intimidated by the World Champion’s impressive run in the Circle up to now. In the main event of ONE Fight Night 6 on Prime Video this Friday, January 13, the top-ranked divisional contender will challenge for the gold he’s sought for some time.

Superbon may be on a winning streak that consists of victories over striking royalty in Giorgio “The Doctor” Petrosyan, Sitthichai “Killer Kid” Sitsongpeenong, and Marat Grigorian, but the Azerbaijani-Belarusian fighter believes he will have no issues overcoming the Thai superstar when they square off inside the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.

Which, given his own aggressive, pressure-heavy style of fighting, Allazov sees as an area to exploit.

“He doesn’t enjoy punching. He doesn’t like real fights, you know? He has this clever game plan. He has kicks, kicks, kicks, and after that, maybe he would like the fight,” the Minsk native said. He doesn’t like a boxing fight. He doesn’t like a power fight.”

While he is confident that all the tools he has at his disposal will be superior to Superbon’s, he still doesn’t doubt his opponent’s chances to cause a problem or two in their World Title tussle.

The divisional king loves to dictate the range with his powerful kicks, work inside the pocket with tremendous precision, and use his razor-sharp fight IQ to put his stamp on fights. That approach has helped him make an impact throughout his tenure in ONE, and the offensive skill set he has used to decimate top-tier rivals is something that Allazov will keep in mind.

That said, the ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Grand Prix Champion is ready to enforce his will on proceedings on Friday evening, and he’ll take advantage of any gap Superbon exposes.

“He has good timing. He has a good universal style. I have kicks and power over him,” Allazov pointed out. “He’s a very good fighter, but maybe he makes a little mistake here, and it’s a big problem in his fight with me.
