As the world’s largest martial arts organization shifts towards a North American audience, it makes sense for it to feature stars from that part of the world, and here we list three American talents who should be part of the historic cards set to broadcast live on Prime Video over the next four months.

#1 Eddie Alvarez

Let’s face it, a ONE fight card featuring Eddie “The Underground King” Alvarez is one that long-time fans of American MMA would not miss.

The 38-year-old star has shared the stage with some of the best names of the sport from past and present, and he is also looking to become the first man to complete the triple crown of winning MMA World Titles in ONE, UFC, and Bellator.

After enduring a mixed start to his tenure at The Home of Martial Arts, Alvarez is ready to make his return and show the world that he’s not out of the running for the ONE Lightweight World Title.

“The Underground King” still packs plenty of venom in his fists and remains a dangerous foe to tangle with across any area of the game.

Only time will tell if Alvarez can find his previous form that made him one of the biggest names in the sport. If he does, fans can expect the veteran to flourish against any of the top guys in ONE’s stacked lightweight division.

#2 Angela Lee

ONE Atomweight World Champion “Unstoppable” Angela Lee has never failed to put on a show inside the ONE Circle. And for that reason, the Singaporean-American sensation deserves a spot on ONE on Prime Video.

In just over seven years, the youngest World Champion in MMA history has evolved into one of the most complete warriors in the all-encompassing sport.

She is comfortable in the standup department and can outmuscle any rival on the canvas.

Despite taking a break to start her family over the past couple of years, Lee showed that she still had the fire when she came back to successfully defend her gold against Stamp Fairtex at ONE X this past March.

This showed that “Unstoppable” is always game to produce a memorable performance on the global stage, and ONE would be wise to showcase her talents to a North American audience at one of the Prime Video events.

#3 Thanh Le

ONE Featherweight World Champion Thanh Le has to be included in a list like this. After all, The Vietnamese-American dynamo has done nothing but produce career-defining performances since arriving on the global stage in 2019.

The Louisiana resident has earned five consecutive knockouts inside the Circle, including an emphatic finish of Martin “The Situ-Asian” Nguyen to claim the divisional gold and a dominant knockout against American grappling star Garry Tonon in his last outing.

Le is scheduled to put his World Title on the line once more against Chinese phenom Tang Kai at ONE 160 on August 26, which airs just hours before ONE on Prime Video 1.

If he does manage to see off the in-form striker with another knockout, there is to be no reason why Le shouldn’t feature on one of the upcoming ONE on Prime Video cards.
