Zakaria El Jamari reflects on ONE Fight Night 24 victory

Zakaria El Jamari, a recent addition from Morocco to ONE Championship, debuted in the promotion at ONE 166: Qatar, one of the organization’s biggest cards of the year so far. While he fell short against an undefeated fighter in Ali Saldoev, he quickly bounced back with a hard-earned victory against Thongpoon two months later to claim a 1-1 record in his promotional tenure. The 34-year-old is showing no signs of slowing down, though.

Now facing the explosive 20-year-old Aliff, El Jamari insists age is irrelevant, stating, “This fight is important for me, for all my fans to know that age is just a number.” Zakaria El Jamari appears to be riding high on his most recent outing, as he stepped in on short notice to emerge victorious against a strong contender in the 26-year-old Thongpoon PK Saenchai.

It will be intriguing to see if Zakaria El Jamari can keep his momentum going against Aliff Sor Dechapan. Aliff will certainly be motivated to get back on the winning track after stumbling in his two recent fights.
