Lee believes the promotion has gotten him the perfect dance partner for the 21st fight of his career. Thus, he foresees an intriguing battle alongside the Novorosfight athlete.

“It’s a big opportunity for me. I’m excited to be headlining my first event on Amazon Prime. I think they chose a good fight to headline this card,” the 24-year-old said. “So, regardless of the outcome, I know, it’s going to be an exciting fight for the fans. And at the end of the day, this is the fight business.”

Before he embarks on a new mission this Friday, Lee has spent his entire professional career competing in the featherweight and lightweight division of the Singapore-based promotion. He has taken out a multitude of fighters ranging from BJJ experts, Muay Thai stylists, wrestlers, and knockout specialists.

Alongside those huge victories, “The Warrior” has also maintained a thoroughly impressive finishing rate. Lee has achieved 11 knockouts and four submissions from 16 fights. The Evolve MMA and United MMA product, however, thinks he still has room for improvement. And that desire to become one of the sport’s greatest-ever athletes has set him up well for this occasion.

“Abbasov is an extremely talented fighter. I know that when he goes out there, he’s always looking to finish his fights,” Lee added.
