The Singaporean-American fighter has evolved into a global superstar at the promotion since his debut in December 2015, and he’s aware of several young prospects that stand to gain a lot from the multi-year deal.

“The Warrior” is grateful to ONE for everything that he has achieved, and he’s proud to see it moving up to the next level in terms of exposure.

“I think this deal with Amazon Prime is really going to take ONE Championship to another level, especially as they break into the U.S. market,” he said.

“I’m glad to see how ONE Championship is just stepping up their game and getting to bigger and bigger platforms. I’m glad, and I’m honored to be a part of it.”

But before the deal kicks off in U.S. Primetime with ONE on Prime Video 1: Moraes vs. Johnson II on August 26, Lee will take on Ok Rae Yoon for the ONE Lightweight World Title in the main event of ONE 160: Ok vs. Lee II just hours earlier.

The United MMA and Evolve representative has been gunning for a rematch with the South Korean slugger since losing the strap via a controversial unanimous decision in their first meeting last year.

Christian Lee has no doubts he won the first bout

Lee has stood by his opinion that he didn’t deserve to lose against Ok, and he has methodically broken down why.

“If you look at ONE Championship’s scoring criteria, I won in every area. If we go on near finish and you go on the damage done – I broke his orbital in the first round, I dropped him big in the third round, and I came close to getting two submissions. That really speaks for itself,” he offered.

Whether or not the former lightweight king can even the score and regain the belt against the reigning World Champion remains to be seen, but fans can expect an absolute firefight when the rematch goes down at ONE 160.

Meanwhile, ONE on Prime Video 1 will be headlined by another highly anticipated rematch, when longtime flyweight World Champion Adriano “Mikinho” Moraes and MMA icon Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson meet with the gold on the line once again.

And that is just the start of the exciting schedule of ONE events set to go out live via Prime Video. On July 21, both parties announced that the streaming giant will broadcast four more spectacles in U.S. primetime on September 30, October 21, November 18, and December 2, respectively.
