38-year-old Liam Harrison is a veteran of nearly two decades in the kickboxing and Muay Thai world. He’s set to return to the ring against Seksan Or Kwanmuang at ONE 168: Denver on September 6th at Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado. This marks his comeback after a two-year absence because of multiple setbacks.

Despite reaching the tail end of his career, Harrison shows no signs of slowing down. This is evident in his recent Instagram post featuring a highlight reel of knockouts. He captioned the video, “Ain’t anyone from the UK who can send you for an early bath with 1 shot like I can. Done it consistently for over 20 years and looking forward to adding a few more KOs to the list before I retire,” showcasing his intent to continue fighting for some time.

The multiple-time Muay Thai World Champion has knocked out plenty of fighters in his storied career, including Mehdi Zatout, Anuwat, Jaroensap, Tetsuya Yamato, and a 2022 ONE Muay Thai Fight of the Year winner over Muangthai P.K Saenchai. Over the past couple of decades, Liam Harrison has fought over 100 bouts and won 90 of them.

He joined the world’s largest martial arts organization in 2018, but a couple of setbacks at featherweight led to him moving down a division where he has since thrived. He scored back-to-back wins in Bantamweight, which led to a ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Title Fight against Nong-O Hama at ONE X in March 2022.

Unfortunately, he suffered injuries to his ACL, MCL, and meniscus. After a long road to recovery, he is now fully healed and ready to get back in action against Seksan at ONE 168: Denver, which he believes will be one of his greatest fights ever.

Liam Harrison previews his fight with Seksan at ONE 168: Denver

Seksan Or Kwanmuang is a legend in the Thai circuit and brought his talents to the ONE Friday Fights series last year, where he went undefeated in eight fights. While watching from the sidelines and realizing that he may not have a lot of years left in his fighting career, Liam Harrison made it clear that he wants to test himself against “The Man Who Yields To No One” at some point upon his return.

His wish came true when he was scheduled to fight Seksan at ONE 168 and he expressed his excitement about the fight in a recent interview with The Fullerwatt podcast, calling Seksan one of the most entering and famous Thai fighters of the past 15 years. He said, “Yeah, this is definitely one of my biggest matches because of who he is. He’s also one of the most entertaining and famous Thai fighters from the last 15 years. He’s a legend, and like I said, he’s one of the only ones missing off my list.”
