While the former UFC champion Eddie Alvarez did not have the perfect start at ONE Championship, he is optimistic about his return. The fighter made his ONE Championship debut against Timofey Nastyukhin in 2019. Unfortunately, he lost the bout through TKO.
He fought once again in the same year and emerged victorious with a submission win at One Championship – Dawn of Heroes. Sadly, his next fight against Iuri Lapicus ended in a no contest. After this, Alvarez lost against Rae Yoon Ok via a unanimous decision.
