Danial Williams promises action against Jonathan Di Bella

Through his six thrilling bouts in ONE, Williams has firmly established himself as an all-action, never-say-die warrior, happy to take two or three shots just to land his own massive punches. According to him, Di Bella–who sports an 11-0 career record and is 1-0 in the organization–simply hasn’t fought someone like him before.

The Thai-Australian spoke about the titleholder: “From what I’ve seen from his opponents, they’re not big names, just not like someone who’s had that experience in martial arts in general. I think my mind’s going to be stronger, and I’m going to have more power–that’s a big one.” For his part, Williams is no stranger to a brawl. Whether it be his classic Muay Thai war against Rodtang Jitmuangnon or any one of his three spectacular MMA victories in ONE, ‘Mini T’ has proven to be a fearless, ultra-aggressive martial artist.

He plans to bring that same entertaining approach on Friday night: “Expect absolute fireworks. I am just going to walk forward. I’m going to be able to take his shots. I’m gonna give him my best shots that I’ve got.” Williams knows he likely can’t win a technical, tit-for-tat battle with the highly skilled Di Bella–that’s simply not his style.

Williams is eyeing the world title going into the ONE Fight Night 15 clash

Quite the opposite, he aims to capture the ONE Strawweight Kickboxing World Title by doing what he does best–wading forward into a ferocious firefight.

‘Mini T,’ added: “This is it for me, so you’re just going to see pure action. Just someone who’s just not going to be circling, not going to be running back. Just going to be really trying to get that best shot, and you know, hurt him. Yeah, just pure action.”
