#1 Superlek Kiatmoo9 vs. Rodtang Jitmuangnon

With a successful title defense in the books, ONE Flyweight Kickboxing World Champion Superlek “The Kicking Machine” Kiatmoo9 should switch his attention to Rodtang “The Iron Man” Jitmuangnon’s flyweight Muay Thai gold.

Superlek made quick work of “Mini T” Danial Williams last week, putting the Australian-Thai challenger to sleep inside the third round.

His initial opponent, Rodtang, was forced to pull out during fight week due to an injury. But with the aim of becoming a two-sport World Champion high on their priority list, both men will be happy to make it official once more.

However, that will have to wait a little longer as “The Iron Man” is scheduled to face Mexican striker Edgar Tabares at ONE Fight Night 10: Johnson vs. Moraes III on May 5, the promotion’s first on-ground show in America.

Should Rodtang leave the Circle with another massive win that night, a Superlek-Rodtang firefight is bound to happen this year.

#2 Ham Seo Hee vs. Stamp Fairtex

Ham “Hamzzang” Seo Hee moved 3-0 in ONE Championship with a dominant win over Itsuki “Android 18” Hirata at ONE Fight Night 8

The victory all but secured her spot as the #2-ranked challenger. More importantly, after the event, ONE Championship Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong confirmed that she will fight for the coveted ONE Atomweight World Title next.

An interim title fight against #1-ranked contender Stamp Fairtex would make perfect sense, as Lee currently takes time away.

Whichever way it pans out for the South Korean slugger, she’d be more than willing to participate in a barnburner fight with ONE gold on the line.

#3 Akbar Abdullaev vs. Shamil Gasanov

Akbar “Bakal” Abdullaev made a splash in his promotional debut on Friday, March 24, knocking out Oh Ho “Spider” Taek in 44 seconds.

That victory saw him push his impressive record to 9-0 and could land him a shot against one of the ranked contenders in the featherweight division next.

A good test for the Kyrgyz warrior next could be in the form of a fellow undefeated fighter – Shamil “The Cobra” Gasanov.

Like Abdullaev, Gasanov debuted with a quick first-round finish to extend his unbeaten record to 9-0. With 16 finishes between the pair, this featherweight tie would be nothing short of impressive.
