The bout will also be a rematch of the pair’s 2023 encounter outside of ONE which saw Nabati win by first-round knockout.

Since then, both fighters have made their mark on the global stage. The 29-year-old Russian is now 2-0 at ONE Friday Fights with impressive victories over two of Thailand’s best strikers.

For his part, Suablack has enjoyed an incredible 6-0 run in the organization, earning him a coveted six-figure contract with ONE and a spot on the global roster.

It’s the Thai’s success in ONE that has Nabati motivated to defeat him again. He said:

“Suablack would not be interesting to me if he did not have a contract with ONE. Now he has. I fought with him before and I won then. But I’m not focused on the past victory. It will be a completely different fight.”

Boasting a pristine 20-0 professional Muay Thai and kickboxing record, Nabati looks to have all the skills and determination to become a ONE World Champion.

Nabati has nothing but respect for Suablack

He respects Suablack for his well-rounded skillset but says he’s yet to face an opponent of his caliber yet in ONE.

And while he knows the Thai has evolved as a fighter since their first clash, Nabati is also confident in his own continued growth and development.

He added: “Overall, [Suablack] is a good fighter, he has everything in his arsenal. He can do everything. He punches and kicks, clinches well, and we are ready for any turn of events.

“But since he came to ONE, he has not yet met a serious opponent like me. Now he has a serious test ahead of him. We have already tested him once, but then the fight ended very quickly. It didn’t even really start before it was over. But we have both changed and now it will be a different fight.”
