‘He Made Me Who I Am Today’ – Aung La N Sang Suggests Vitaly Bigdash Fights Have Improved Him as a Martial Artist Ahead of Their Much-Awaited Trilogy

ONE Championship will host their ONE: Full Circle event in Singapore, this Friday. With two championship bouts, it is one of the highly touted MMA events going on this weekend. However, there is another pivotal matchup on the card; Aung La N Sang and Vitaly Bigdash will compete to settle their trilogy in a feature middleweight bout.
During the faceoff interview at ONE: Full Circle, N Sang, and Bigdash, both the fighters were very respectful towards each other. Both the fighters are excited to compete against each other and had nothing but respect for each other’s skills. As it’s been five years since their last encounter, both fighters are hoping to see a better version of each other.

N Sang praised his opponent Bigdash for making him a better fighter. ‘The Burmese Python’ said, “I have all the respect for Vitaly man. It’s gonna be, I’m excited, you know. It’s gonna happen Friday night, and I have nothing but respect and love for this guy, man. He made me who I am today.”
Even Bigdash had kind words for N Sang. “It will be a very legendary trilogy for us. He’s the good guy, he’s a sportsman, he’s a family guy; Big respect to him, so it’s gonna be a very interesting fight.”

It was great to see the respect, the two fighters have, going into their bout. However, it was not a surprise as the two have spent 10 rounds with each other inside the ONE circle and have earned each other’s respect.

These two fighters have fought twice before in 2017 and have given the fans of ONE championship, iconic moments in those bouts.

The first bout saw the Russian Bigdash getting his hand raised at ONE Championship: Quest for Power and defending his ONE middleweight world championship. In the rematch, N Sang got his revenge and won the fight via 5 Round Decision at ONE Championship: Light of a Nation and became the new ONE middleweight world champion.

Lately, both the fighters have had decent outings. The 37-year, Bigdash is coming off a two-fight win streak. Also, he has finished both these fights via submission. On the other hand, N Sang won his last fight via TKO in the first round. Hence, both the former ONE middleweight world champions will look to keep the winning momentum going and get the node in the trilogy at ONE: Full Circle.
