Danial Williams’ fight game caused Superlek Kiatmoo9 to make adjustments to his own style

In stepped Williams–a significantly less experienced striker than Rodtang. Nonetheless, “The Kicking Machine” is sure the Australian-Thai slugger will be just as tough of a test when they square off inside the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

Speaking to ONE, Superlek said, “Once I knew that Danial would be my new opponent, I watched his fight with Rodtang right away, and I found that he’s a dangerous fighter with good punches. His punch is so accurate.”

“In my opinion, Danial’s style and Rodtang’s style are quite similar. They have good step-in and step-out movements. He is not shy to trade weapons. I have to watch out for his punch. But I’m not too worried because he has a similar style to Rodtang.”

Superlek Kiatmoo9 had found the remedies to Danial Williams’ strong striking game

While he may have some concerns regarding “Mini T’s” punching power and elbows, the defending king believes he can utilize his height and reach advantages to their fullest extent in order to retain his throne.

He said, “After a quick study on Danial, I have to change my game plan from being more defensive to offensive. I’m bigger and have a longer reach. Also, Danial is not as aggressive as Rodtang. I think I will get the upper hand if I walk toward him and make sure to not give him a chance to get close to me.”

Ultimately, Superlek is unperturbed by the late switch of opponents. He respects “Mini T” and what he brings to the Circle but warns him that he is coming well-prepared this Friday.

He added, “Although I have to change all plans, I’m confident that the belt will still be mine. I will throw everything I’ve prepared for Rodtang to him instead.”

My interest in combat sports began watching scripted pro wrestling shows. It was my father who directed me towards combat sports and it wasn’t until the late 2010s that I discovered the world of MMA and the UFC. Like many of you, I too, tuned in for the infamous Nurmagomedov vs. McGregor bout live on October 6, 2018. Being an ardent fan of the UFC (and Dustin ‘The Diamond’ Poirier), I was always looking to have conversations about the same with others. But to my disappointment, I hardly found any followers of the sports to interact with. So I took it upon myself to do my part in popularizing the thrill and the agony behind the purest form of unarmed combat.
