Surging phenom Fabricio “Wonder Boy” Andrade delivered three successive knockouts inside the ONE Championship Circle to earn his shot at John “Hands of Stone” Lineker’s bantamweight crown. 

The Brazilian upstart will take on his World Champion compatriot in the main event of ONE on Prime Video 3 on Friday, October 21, and he is determined to add another stoppage to his catalog on his way to snatching the coveted strap inside Axiata Arena in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. 

Fabricio Andrade’s message to the champ

Andrade has big words to back up when he faces “Hands of Stone” next week, as he has continuously dubbed himself “the uncrowned king of the division” over the past nine months. But he truly sees himself as something different, and he is ready to showcase why.

“The biggest difference is the variety I bring to a fight. I use my boxing, I kick, I use the elbows, the knee. So, the diversity of weapons I bring to the fight will be the biggest difference between my striking and his,” the Tiger Muay Thai standout said.

“I believe he is an average seven [out of 10]. Most are in this average, a few manage to reach eight, nine, and 10 when we talk about striking,” he said. 

“I believe that I’ve managed to overcome this average, and that’s why, I believe, I’m on another level. Not that Lineker has bad striking, but he’s average, and I’m above average.”
