But while he’s fired up to pick up a win against the Swede slugger, Soldic expects his foe to be formidable when they meet inside the Circle. It’s clear the Bosnian-born athlete respects Kadestam’s resume and skill set, but this isn’t the first time he has been drawn against a more senior adversary. Throughout his professional career, Soldic has met and come out on top against similarly difficult opposition, most notably defeating Dricus du Plessis to claim the KSW welterweight crown in October 2018, so he knows how to get the job done.

He added, “[Facing someone as experienced as Kadestam], it’s nothing new for me, really. I have been in so many bad positions and good positions. I’m ready for anything. I have to beat this guy. He’s in my way. I’m in good shape. No injuries now. I feel great. Let’s do it.”
Soldic was confident about achieving a win against the former divisional champion
“Robocop’s” ultimate goal in ONE Championship is very straightforward – to claim the ONE Welterweight World Title. And after his debut outing last year ended in a disappointing no-contest, he’s keen to fix his reputation and get back on track. A win against a man who held the welterweight gold for two years will surely do that for the 28-year-old dynamo.

Soldic said, “I want to be a ONE World Champion badly. This is really a big thing for me, and I will try to finish as always. I always try to put on a great show. I only need to be healthy, and that’s it. I’m ready. I’m very disciplined. I don’t make mistakes.”
