The first female bout of ONE on Prime Video 1 showcased a battle between China and Japan-based athletes. Itsuki Hirata and Lin Heqin competed in a catchweight bout after missing weight earlier. Both young fighters were evenly matched in the contest, despite the contrasting styles. Hirata won the contest by unanimous decision.

‘Android 18’, 5-1, was coming off the first loss of her MMA career against an experienced fighter (15-3-1) in ‘MMA Sisters’.

The first round was competitive on the feet, but Hirata was able to take the bout on the ground, whereas Heqin was landing devastating leg kicks. Likewise, in the second round, while the contest was fairly even on the feet, Hirata almost pulled off a finish at the end of the round. Heqin was saved by the bell.

Even in the third, Lin was chewing the leg of Hirata on the feet. However, the Japanese fighter landed a brutal shot to put Heqin down at the end of the third round. And some ferocious ground and pound ended the round strongly for her.

Fans saw how Heqin was able to damage Hirata’s leg. However, the Japanese fighter’s courage got acknowledgment as well.
