“I believe that winning this will give me a chance to contend for a World Title in ONE, which would be another goal to reach,” the Team Lakay athlete said.

“I’m determined to face all these ranked opponents. So that I can prove myself worthy to challenge for that World Championship.”
Loman crashed onto ONE ‘s global stage with a stunning first-round knockout of former #3-ranked contender Yusup “Maestro” Saadulaev in late 2021. Then in March this year, he battled his way to a unanimous decision win over Japanese star Shoko Sato.

Both fights were no easy assignments, but Loman’s perseverance and hard work made it possible. Against Fernandes, however, “The Sniper” knows he must up his game and continue his evolution as a fighter, as “The Flash” represents a step up.

“In the past, I thought I was going to be matched up with him, but that didn’t happen. So, for sure, my excitement for that match is still there.”

It’s an intimidating resume for any fighter to face, but Loman, who is riding a sensational 10-fight winning streak, has dreams of establishing his legacy in ONE – and he’s ready to start with his upcoming foe. “I really need to win against Bibiano first because we know that he’s not an ordinary fighter,” he said.
