She will definitely need to ensure she is in tip-top form if she wants to leave ONE X, emanating live from the Singapore Indoor Stadium, with a win against Thai striking dynamo Stamp Fairtex. “I feel like I’ve been getting ready for this fight for a while. And I’m just excited to get in there and get it done,” the 25-year-old World Champion shared.

“This is definitely the biggest fight of my career. You know, by far, I mean, she has her credentials. She’s a world champion as well.”

During her time off to focus on her daughter, Ava Marie, Lee witnessed Stamp’s rise to the #1 contender spot in the atomweight division. “Unstoppable” was impressed by the Thai’s stellar displays throughout the ONE Women’s Atomweight World Grand Prix.

Despite speaking highly of her opposite number, Lee still feels that there is still a noticeable gap separating her and the Fairtex Gym standout.

Can Angela Lee get the job done at ONE: X?

Stamp’s performances over the past couple of years were impressive. That, in turn, has led analysts and fellow martial artists to believe that she can be the fighter to hand Lee her first defeat in the atomweight division while accomplishing her dream to pick up a third World Title in a separate martial arts discipline.

Lee did not completely rule out her rival’s chances at victory but believes her lengthy break, coupled with her new role as a mother, has reignited her fire to become a better martial artist.

In short, “Unstoppable” is prepared to put in a career-defining performance, take out the top-ranked star, and enjoy yet another successful world title defense. It won’t be easy, but the Hawaii-based star reckons she will get the job done – at all cost.

“I know what I’m capable of and I’m going to go in there and I know I’m going to get the job done. I can’t wait to prove people wrong, you know,” she warned.
