Get ready everyone! The main event of ONE Fight Night 11 on Prime Video will see two-sport ONE World Champion Regian Eersel put his years-long, 21-fight undefeated streak and his ONE Lightweight Muay Thai World Title on the line against his most dangerous challenger to date.

Slated to go down in front of a raucous Thai crowd at the iconic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok and broadcast live in U.S. primetime on June 9, “The Immortal’s” showdown against promotional newcomer Dmitry Menshikov has striking fans around the world salivating. The bout has plenty to offer.

Regian Eersel saw a lot of factors that would drive him to a victory

In one corner, Eersel might just be the planet’s most talented overall striker, having ruled ONE’s lightweight Muay Thai and kickboxing divisions with an iron fist and hasn’t lost since 2016. He comes into the contest following an unforgettable highlight-reel knockout over dangerous Thai star Sinsamut Klinmee in March.

Across from him will stand Russian sensation Menshikov – a knockout artist of the highest degree. Considered to be one of Europe’s most powerful pound-for-pound strikers, the 25-year-old boasts his own 11-fight winning streak and an incredible 70 percent finishing rate.

Obviously, the titleholder will have his hands full this Friday. But Eersel sees certain advantages over his foe, including his experience in ONE’s unique small-gloved Muay Thai. And with those advantages, he says he’s expecting nothing less than a dominant showing and successful World Title defense.

“My advantage is my length, I’m a little bit taller than him. I think also my experience with the 4-ounce gloves and my Muay Thai experience. I visualize myself, and it doesn’t matter how, but I visualize myself winning by KO, but winning is the most important thing. It has to be a clear, clear victory,” he said.

And while he plans on scoring another spectacular knockout to extend his winning streak, the Surinamese-Dutch superstar doesn’t think it will necessarily come easy.
