Rambolek is determined to make a comeback after mixed results

A prodigious athlete with big power in both his punches and kicks, Rambolek made waves in his first two appearances at ONE Friday Fights, starching his Thai compatriot Theeradet Chor Hapayak, then former ONE Kickboxing World Title challenger Zhang Chenglong.

Those highlight-reel performances earned the Thai global recognition and made him the first-ever fighter from ONE Friday Fights to secure a coveted six-figure contract and a spot on ONE’s global roster.

Despite that momentum, Rambolek next suffered a narrow split-decision loss against Fariyar Aminipour, followed by a knockout defeat against American sensation Asa Ten Pow in his U.S. primetime debut at ONE Fight Night 14. Since then, the Kiatpetch athlete bounced back to the win column with an impressive showing against Turkish star Soner Sen.

Now, as he prepares to return to the big show, Rambolek is more motivated than ever to prove he belongs on the global stage. He said: “After I lost, I always thought that if I had the opportunity to come back and fight at ONE Fight Night again, I would give it my all like my life depended on it. I want to come back and make a statement.”

While no fighter ever wants to suffer back-to-back losses, those defeats forced Rambolek to develop into a better overall athlete. With the help of sports science experts and driven to prove he’s among the best strikers on the planet, he pushed himself like never before:

He further added, “I changed many training methods. Sports science was brought in to help. I had to force myself to work harder. No matter how tired I was, I had to practice so that I could develop to be better and worthy of the world stage.”

When he squares off with Coakley at ONE Fight Night 24, Rambolek admits he’ll have a chip on his shoulder, determined to remind fans around the world that he’s an elite – and wildly entertaining – striker. He added: “I want everyone to believe that I deserved to be the first one from ONE Friday Fights to get the contract.”
