The 24-year-old was satisfied with the result overall. She credited the preparation she underwent with her team for the emphatic victory.

“I’m very proud because I have been training hard for this. And I was really happy that I was able to almost pull off a rear-naked choke on her in the second round,” Stamp said.

“Coach Frank [Marques] and my team at Fairtex have all been training me so hard for this.”

With the win in the bag, the focus now shifts to what is next for the top-ranked Atomweight contender. That question could have many answers, given her vast skill set, but Stamp only has one goal in mind.
