This Friday, July 5, live in U.S. primetime in the main event of ONE Fight Night 23 on Prime Video, the 31-year-old will battle South Korean standout Ok Rae Yoon for the ONE Interim Lightweight MMA World Title.
That can’t-miss matchup goes down at the iconic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

Ok Rae Yoon was Alibeg Rasulov’s ‘dream opponent’
With his pristine 14-0 professional record, Rasulov will come into the contest with a head full of steam.
However, he’ll also be making his debut in the world’s largest martial arts organization and he’ll be facing a man who previously held the undisputed ONE Lightweight MMA World Title.

Rasulov knows that Ok is one of the planet’s most dangerous lightweights – but that’s exactly why he’s excited to face him.

Now just days away from his much-anticipated promotional debut, the Turkish star spoke about his World Title showdown with Ok:
“He is a former champion, a good fighter, and he has beaten many high-level fighters. I was dreaming about such an opponent, so I was very happy when I received his name. I believe it’s my time and I will pass him.”

Rasulov sees Ok’s striking as his biggest weapon
While Rasulov’s record reflects a mixture of finishes by both knockout and submission, his bread and butter is undeniably his powerful wrestling and grappling game.
Indeed, his clearest path to victory at ONE Fight Night 23 will be to bring the fight to the canvas where he can employ his suffocating top control and ruthless ground-and-pound.
But by that same token, Rasulov admits that Ok will hold an advantage in the striking department. Getting past the South Korean’s formidable takedown defense, he says, will be a tall task.

“His advantage is his stand-up. He mostly fights standing and doesn’t allow you to take him down. He is a good defensive wrestler,” he added.
