Canadian star and heavyweight Ben Tynan is now two-for-two in ONE Championship’s heavyweight MMA ranks, and he wants the division’s king to know he’s coming for him. Tynan has made sure that the king knows that the lion has come to take his throne. In a stern warning, he made sure that Anatoly Malykhin had got his message.

Ben Tynan is optimistic about his win against the ONE Championship’s king

“Vanilla Thunder” rocked some unique ring gear that may not have immediately struck fear into his opponent. But he paired it with a devastating combination of wrestling prowess and heavy punching power to come out on top and defeat the Australian Duke Didier in the opening round.

Speaking to Mitch Chilson inside the ring after the bout, Tynan was ecstatic with the win, and he wasn’t shy about who he wanted next.“I feel great, baby. I feel freakin’ fantastic. Though the issue is we got a middleweight holding the belt at heavyweight? And that ain’t cool. “I’m calling out Anatoly. I’m coming for you, man. It may not be next, but I’m coming, brother. So keep your eye out, baby.” he said.

Reigning ONE Heavyweight MMA World Champion Anatoly Malykhin recently added to his collection by taking out Reinier de Ridder a second time to claim the middleweight MMA crown. Anatoly Malykhin now holds the heavyweight, light heavyweight, and middleweight belts, making him the first-ever mixed martial artist to reign over three divisions simultaneously.

Doubts over Anatoly Malykhin’s prowess

Many cast doubt about whether Malykhin could successfully drop two weight brackets and remain dominant. But the Russian superstar silenced them all by controlling proceedings en route to a second-round stoppage over “The Dutch Knight” at ONE: Qatar last month.

The history-making feat may have been monumental, but Tynan stated that it simply proved the One Chance Team representative is not a natural heavyweight like him. And he predicted only one outcome if they were ever to meet.

He’s a middleweight. There’s not a middleweight on this planet that could beat me. I will whoop his ass, with all due respect,” Tynan roared.
