Roberto “Robocop” Soldic sees Murad Ramazanov as a tough opponent, but he’s confident the Russian star will be unable to slow him down as he seeks to start his ONE Championship tenure off with a bang. That said, the Croatian fighter has nothing but praise for his unbeaten opponent, who he faces at ONE on Prime Video 5, this Friday, December 2.
“He’s a complete MMA fighter – like everyone today. People are today complete MMA fighters. Everybody knows jiu-jitsu. Everybody knows wrestling, boxing, conditioning, and now it’s also a different time,” the UFD Gym athlete said.

Roberto Soldic’s urge to win will earn him a victory against Murad Ramazanov
“Murad is 11-0 [and] the same age as me. But I think I have more experience than him and the tougher [set of] fights. I also had better opponents. But I never underestimate anyone.”
Soldic and Ramazanov share similarities in a variety of departments. Both men are renowned for their grappling game, have heavy hands, and work well off the fence.

Hence, the fighter known as “Robocop” expects their welterweight clash to be an intense battle. But he believes his drive to kickstart his career in ONE with a big scalp will get him over the line in the end.
“I’m more hungry than him because he’s now 3-0 in ONE Championship. I don’t have any fights because they gave me Murad straight away, and I’m just like a new cookie there, and he knows everything. I think I’m more experienced than him. I had the toughest fight,” he said.

Ramazanov’s perfect run makes him a worthy opponent for Soldic, who enters the Singapore-based promotion with an abundance of hype. Soldic goes into this bout on a seven-match winning streak that has seen him score six knockouts and claim both the middleweight and welterweight belts in Europe’s biggest mixed martial arts promotion, KSW. If his hunger doesn’t push him to a debut win on Friday, the scorching-hot MMA prospect’s confidence just might.
“I believe in myself, and what can I say? It’s a very tough opponent for me, and I like this. I cannot wait for the fight,” Soldic said.
