Superbon Singha Mawynn is bringing the curtains down on 2023 for ONE Championship, and he wants to put an exclamation point on the year with a fantastic show.

At ONE Friday Fights 46 this Friday, December 22, the former pound-for-pound best striker on the planet will figure in a highly anticipated bout with Tawanchai PK Saenchai for the ONE Featherweight Muay Thai World Championship.

The pair were scheduled to meet twice before, but a poorly timed injury and illness prevented the match from happening both times.

With health concerns now behind them, they will finally collide in front of their home fans at the iconic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, and Superbon is just as hyped as everyone else for the match.

“I’m excited. This fight is highly anticipated, and I really want to take part in it. I think this is the right time for us to meet,” he told ONE in an interview.

“At the beginning of the year, I lost my kickboxing belt. But at the end of the year, I’ll have the opportunity to fight for Muay Thai gold. I think this is my best opportunity for redemption.

Superbon ready to end the year on a winning note

Superbon lost the ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Title at ONE Fight Night 6 this past January, but he quickly bounced back with a highlight-reel finish against Tayfun Ozcan at ONE Fight Night 11 in June.

The Singha Mawynn Muay Thai gym standout believes that, like him, Tawanchai is a fighter who always wants to delight fans with exciting performances. As such, he is looking forward to putting on a show that will rival Rodtang Jitmuangnon and Superlek Kiatmoo9’s clash earlier this year.

“For me, this is just another big match in my life. I’m not worried about the outcome – I just want to do my best, and the audience will appreciate our efforts,” Superbon said.
