Jonathan Haggerty Manifesting Another World Title Win Against Fabricio Andrade

Haggerty has previously held the ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Title in his tenure, and he shocked the world earlier this year by knocking out the seemingly invincible Nong-O Hama to take the bantamweight gold in his second fight in the division. Now looking stronger than ever, Haggerty says he’s ready to achieve his dream of holding a belt in both striking arts in the world’s largest martial arts organization.

“I was coming to the bantamweight division to take over, and I think it’s fair to say I’m getting there,” he said in an interview with ONE. “I’ve said it in previous interviews, but I wanted the kickboxing belt on one shoulder and the Muay Thai belt on the other. I’ve said that throughout my career, and it will become a reality.” There is no doubt that Haggerty is one of the best fighters in the world today.

He is currently on a four-fight winning streak, and he’ll be looking to improve on that against Andrade, who is a talented striker in his own right.“Wonder Boy” has an impressive 40-3 record in Muay Thai and kickboxing competition, and he successfully parlayed his skills to MMA, where he has amassed an overall 9-2 record so far.

First time, fans will see the two warriors collide in the kickboxing ring

Their October 6 meeting will be the first kickboxing match in ONE for both men, but it will certainly not be short on excitement, considering their respective reputations for bringing action to the global stage.

A new two-sport World Champion will be crowned after the dust settles, and Haggerty says that he will be looking forward to defending both of his belts should he emerge victorious in his upcoming match. “There’s great opposition in the kickboxing division. I’ll win the belt, and I’m happy to defend it against anyone. I’m just there to fight whoever they put in front of me,” he said.
