ONE Strawweight MMA World Champion Jarred Brooks is hungry for a fight, and he?s not limiting himself to fighters in his division. Brooks is also open to fighting other standouts in the bracket, though, saying he?d take on kickboxing king Superlek Kiatmuu9 if he decided to dip his toes into MMA. He expressed his admiration for the Thai star but warned him that he?d have a rude welcome waiting if they were to square off.?

Jarred Brooks isn’t about to stop anytime soon

?I see Superlek has cauliflower ears, stuff like that. I?m very observant. I already know he?s done some rolling. He?s probably thinking about mixed martial arts,? Brooks told ONE in an interview.??I?m a huge fan of Superlek, too. It would be an honor to go against him. He has crazy kicks, but if he tries to kick me, I promise you I?m going to take him down and I?m going to smash his face in.??

ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon is also on his radar, as he believes ?The Iron Man? produces an electrifying fight anytime he steps into action.?Unlike Superlek, Rodtang already has a bit of MMA experience.

He took part in a mixed-rules bout that incorporated the all-encompassing sport opposite Johnson at ONE X in March 2022. Even though Rodtang lost when the fight came down to MMA, he still put up an electrifying performance as expected from him.

Rodtang is one of the best in the business. He strikes like a storm and takes hits to the chin like it means absolutely nothing. But Brooks believes he can take him down. He is confident that he has the power to go toe-to-toe with the Thai superstar, and he has formulated a strategy for their hypothetical matchup.?

Brooks sees a weakness in Rodatang’s play

?The only reason why I say that I would like to go against Rodtang is the dude leaves his hands down, and I actually have pretty good power. I have more power than [former Rodtang opponent] Danial Williams. I have more power than a lot of those guys,? he said.?

?If I was to go against Rodtang right now, I would just do a lot of movement so there?s no leg kicks, he can?t come in with straight elbows, come in with all those knees. He would have to come and get close to me, right? So if he has to walk me down and he keeps his hands down, that?s what I?d be looking for.?
