ONE Fight Night 11: Eersel vs. Menshikov is set to feature an intriguing showdown between Filipino knockout artist Jeremy Miado and undefeated promotional newcomer Mansur Malachiev on June 9, and the winner could well be catapulted into consideration to take on Brooks at some point in the near future.

Miado is on a four-fight winning streak, with all of his wins coming by knockouts. His latest victory, against #5-ranked divisional contender Danial Williams last October, shows that he has undeniable star potential, which Malachiev will be out to steal in his ONE debut.

“If it’s on the feet, Jeremy is very technical and he throws very fast. If you’re a straight-on fighter, you’re [going to have a hard time]. But if you have angles, then yeah, you can do a lot of things to Jeremy Miado,” he added.

Will Malachiev be able to beat Miado?

Miado has already proven his skill on the feet, but he will certainly be tested by Dagestani warrior Malachiev, who is adept at taking his opponents to the ground.

He has claimed five victories via submission and three more by knockout, making him an unpredictable puzzle for the Marrok Force representative to try and solve when they meet.
