Right now in ONE Championship, Jonathan Haggerty reigns as one of the most accomplished non- Thai fighters across all striking disciplines. He’s cemented his reputation by capturing belts in both Muay Thai and Kickboxing. Haggerty secured the vacant ONE Bantamweight Kickboxing World Title in November 2023 against Fabricio Andrade, and before this, he had an impressive victory in April 2023 over the legendary Nong-O Hama to capture the Muay Thai belt.

To promote this achievement on Instagram, Jonathan Haggerty shared a reel captioned, “If you can see it you can achieve it. “He claimed the video was filmed a week before his April 2023 kickboxing title win. Haggerty further stated, “Next stop is September 6th to become the p4p best.” In the clip, Haggerty playfully channeled the announcer, who declared his victory, saying, “New bantamweight kickboxing and Muay Thai world champion. Sounds good, right?

This video by Haggerty also garnered attention from other MMA fighters, including UFC featherweight and fellow countryman Nathaniel Wood, as well as British rapper and singer French the Kid. They all supported Haggerty’s dream of becoming the next pound-for-pound king at ONE 168: Denver.

Another British rapper and close friend of Haggerty’s chimed in with, “Damn right!!! Fam,” which received a thumbs-up from UFC featherweight Nathaniel Wood. Wood, who’s next scheduled to fight at UFC 304 in Manchester, England, added his message of encouragement,” 100%.
