The 37-year-old will be among the millions of fans tuning in for ONE Fight Night 11: Eersel vs. Menshikov on Prime Video this Friday, June 9, and he’ll have a particular interest in three of the five all-striking bouts that are set to go down inside the iconic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

Liam Harrison is hyped for the Superbon fight
Harrison is a fan of the Thai superstar’s style, but he believes his performance will center around his mindset after losing his World Title at the start of this year.

“I love watching Superbon fight, but I think this fight all depends on how well he bounces back from that horrendous KO by Allazov,” he told ONE Championship.

“Hitman” is also looking forward to watching kickboxing legend Nieky Holzken back in his element. After competing in Muay Thai in his last two bouts, “The Natural” will take on former ONE World Title challenger Arian Sadikovic in a lightweight kickboxing clash at ONE Fight Night 11.
“I don’t know much about Holzken’s opponent, to be honest, but I hope Nieky puts in a big performance and gets himself back among the top names in the division,” Harrison said.

Friday’s event will be headlined by Regian Eersel’s second defense of the ONE Lightweight Muay Thai World Title. The Surinamese striking icon takes on dangerous promotional newcomer Dmitry Menshikov, who is riding an 11-fight win streak and a legitimate threat to Eersel’s reign.

Harrison believes “The Immortal” has the tools to overcome his latest foe, however, and he backs it up by citing his last appearance on ONE’s global stage.
“Eersel is my favorite fighter at [lightweight]. I’d never go against him. He proved against Sinsamut [Klinmee] to never count him out, as he was three rounds down and still found a way to win with the killer body shot.”
