The rising Thai star is set for action on Friday, August 2, as he takes on Road to ONE: United Kingdom winner Craig “Coco” Coakley in a bantamweight Muay Thai showdown at ONE Fight Night 24: Brooks vs. Balart inside the iconic Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

Rambolek reflects on comeback after two consecutive losses

Rambolek started his ONE run-off with back-to-back wins in the ONE Friday Fights series to become the first-ever fighter to earn a six-figure promotional contract from the weekly martial arts showcase.

Unfortunately, things didn’t go as planned in his next two bouts. He slipped to a tight split-decision loss to Fariyar Aminipour at ONE Friday Fights 22 in June 2023 and fell to a third-round TKO courtesy of American striking star Asa Ten Pow at ONE Fight Night 14 three months later.

Rambolek returned to form in this latest outing against Soner Sen at ONE Friday Fights 51 this past February, and he discussed how that win gave him a much-needed boost in a recent interview with ONE.

Coakley also seeks redemption in ONE Championship

“I lost two fights in a row after I got the ONE Championship contract. At that time, I admit that I felt quite uncomfortable. I didn’t want to lose two fights in a row. I just went all out in the ring. But I made a mistake, so I lost. It hurt because I had the chance, but I didn’t do my job properly. I was disappointed in myself,” he said.

“I admit that my confidence decreased. But now my confidence is back after I bounced back to the winning side by beating Soner Sen. It made me feel like I have more power. I have more belief that I will be able to come back and make a statement at ONE Fight Night.”

The Kiapetch representative will need to bring his A-game when he takes on Coakley, as the Irishman will be hungry for a win following a disappointing first-round knockout loss to Suablak Tor Pran49 in his promotional debut at ONE Friday Fights 46 last December.

With both men out to make a name for themselves in ONE Championship’s stacked bantamweight Muay Thai division, fans should expect fireworks when they collide this Friday night.
