One Championship Signs Yet Another Jiu-Jitsu Ace in Danielle Kelly

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu star Danielle Kelly now has a new home. The grappling ace has made a decision on her fighting career and it will take her to ONE Championship.
The BJJ black belt recently announced that she has signed with the world’s largest MMA promotion. She took to Instagram and put out a post thanking the organization and announcing the deal.
She wrote, “Happy to announce I am officially a @onechampionship athlete. I am also proud to be a part of @evolvemma. I’ll be doing grappling bouts under them and when I’m ready to do MMA they’ll be the promotion I’ll fight under.”

“I can’t put into words how much this means to me. I try my best to be the best I can be whether that’s on or off the mats. I love what ONE represents.”
ONE Championship entertains the fans with high-level kickboxing, Muay Thai, MMA fights, and submission grappling. The promotion has recently added some elite grapplers to its roster. Gordon Ryan, Andre Galvao, and Marcus Almeida are all part of the promotion, and with the addition of Kelly, fans can look forward to some exciting matchups.

The 26-year-old fighter is a BJJ veteran and has competed all across the world. She recently took on former UFC strawweight champion, Carla Esparza, at December’s Fury Pro 3. Kelly won the fight after her opponent suffered an injury. Even though she has signed the deal, there is no announcement about when she will make her debut.

Danielle Kelly is one of the biggest BBJ artists in the world. She has honed her skills over the years and put out great performances over difficult opposition. Kelly has won over the likes of Carla Esparza, Cynthia Calvillo, Roxanne Modafferi, and Sofia Amarante. She is definitely a great addition to the ONE Championship roster and the founder of the promotion welcomed her.
Chatri Sityodtong took to Instagram and posted, “Please join me in welcoming Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt Superstar Danielle Kelly to ONE! She will be competing in both submission grappling and MMA on the world’s largest stage of martial arts.”
