A new ONE Interim Women’s Atomweight MMA World Champion will be crowned this Friday, and some of the top stars in the world’s largest martial arts organization have offered their opinions on who will win the coveted strap.

In the main event of ONE Fight Night 14 on Friday, September 29, Thai megastar Stamp Fairtex and South Korean veteran Ham Seo Hee are set to battle it out to become only the second woman to claim the division’s top prize. Their match goes down inside the Singapore Indoor Stadium and will be broadcast live and free on U.S. primetime for fans across North America via Prime Video.

With both women’s combat sports records, it’s difficult to predict a definite conclusion to their match. However, there can only be one winner, and some of ONE’s world-class athletes shared their thoughts on who they think will take home the gold this past week. ONE Flyweight MMA World Champion Demetrious Johnson said: “I got Stamp. She’s big for her weight class, she can take a shot, she’s amazing, I think ain’t nobody beating Stamp.”

ONE Heavyweight contender and grappling icon Marcus “Buchecha” Almeida also picked the Fairtex product to come away with the victory, and he shared his excitement for the whole card. “I think Stamp gets this one,” he said. “I’m always excited to watch her fight. I can’t wait, it will be an amazing card.”

Former two-division ONE World Champion Martin Nguyen is ready to watch a banger of a fight. While he has a favorite to win, he believes it will be a tough battle for both women. “Stamp is a strong [fighter], and Ham is a very strong, very game opponent. And so that fight is going to be fireworks for sure,” he said. “Stamp’s my girl, so I can’t go against her, but Ham is not an easy opponent for her.”
