Initially, Roman Kryklia was going to defend his ONE Light Heavyweight Kickboxing World Title against Murat Aygun in the main event. However, Aygun pulled out of the fight, and Kryklia was going to face Iraj Azizpour for the inaugural ONE Kickboxing Heavyweight World Championship.

However, the changes in the main event didn’t stop at that. Later, Kryklia also pulled out of the fight due to an undisclosed medical condition. Thus, the main event, which was supposed to be a Kickboxing world title bout, got canceled.

Now, two women’s atomweight Grand Prix bouts will headline the event. The main event will feature Stamp Fairtex facing Julie Mezabarba in a ONE women’s atomweight World Grand Prix semifinals. Meanwhile, the other Grand Prix semifinal bout will serve as the co-main event.
