The combat sports fandom will be pinning their hopes on a knockout when Fabricio “Wonder Boy” Andrade and John “Hands of Stone” Lineker collide in their heated rematch for the vacant bantamweight gold in the main event at ONE Fight Night 7 on Prime Video this Friday, February 24. But the 10-bout fight card, which features MMA, Muay Thai, kickboxing, and submission grappling action, is awash with other knockout artists.

One name that comes to mind is ONE Featherweight Muay Thai World Champion Tawanchai PK. Saenchai, who defends his title for the first time against Jamal “Yeniceri” Yusupov in the co-main event. The Thai phenom will be looking to add another highlight-reel finish to his decorated resume, and before he laces up the 4oz gloves, we’ve broken down all of his knockouts in ONE Championship so far.

Precise head kick to introduce himself to the global fans

Tawanchai joined the organization’s striking-only division in early 2021 with an impressive 124-30-2 record that he built up on the Thai striking circuit. Hailed by ONE Championship Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong as a generational talent, the striking dynamo wasted no time introducing himself to ONE’s global fanbase.

He put Ireland’s Sean “Clubber” Clancy to sleep with a wicked high kick at the 35-second mark of the third stanza of his debut at ONE: DANGAL in May 2021. But long before that insane finish, he left his foe in ruins courtesy of merciless attacks that incorporated elbows from close range and body shots.

A Counter Left That Decimated Saemapetch

Tawanchai PK. Saenchai suffered a defeat to Sitthichai “Killer Kid” Sitsongpeenong in his sophomore outing, but he bounced back in style against Saemapetch Fairtex. The main plot point of their bantamweight bout last January was the pair’s close friendship. But both men promised to put their ties aside and provide fans with an epic Muay Thai battle.

They didn’t disappoint in this task, and it was Tawanchai that walked away with an impressive win. Saemapetch’s ruthless style meant he left his defense wide open, allowing the P.K. Saenchai standout to connect with teep kicks down the center and stiff jabs right from the start.

A high kick-jab combination sent the Fairtex representative down for the count, but he managed to return to his feet. However, while Saemapetch was finding his ground, Tawanchai hopped in with a stinging left that sealed the win at 2:55 of the opening frame.

As he had done in both of his previous wins in ONE, Tawanchai PK. Saenchai dished out another striking clinic against Niclas “Dreamchaser” Larsen at ONE 158 last June. Barely a minute into the contest, the Thai superstar sent his foe to the canvas with a thudding right hook-left cross combo.

“Dreamchaser,” felt the sting, but he continued to press forward, hoping to catch his rival with a couple of tricks. That intense pressure by Larsen backfired in the end, however. Just as he forced Tawanchai into reverse gear, the 23-year-old countered with a right hook-left straight combination. The second shot landed flush on Larsen’s jaw, sending him crashing to the canvas.
