After withdrawing from the ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Grand Prix Championship in August for health reasons, “The Iron Man” feels that he is back at his best – and he’s hunting for the finish in his upcoming bout.
Rodtang Jitmuangnon goes mystic predicting his fight with Josef Lasiri
“I expect to knock him out in round three. I want to knock him out with a high kick. But it would be tricky because he is too tall to reach,” the Jitmuangnon Gym athlete said. “So, I think I’d knock him out with my killer punch and elbow instead.”

Rodtang has outclassed an entire catalog of world-class fighters throughout his tenure in ONE, but he feels that Lasiri could provide him with one of his toughest tests yet.
The Bangkok-based star’s comments come after analyzing Lasiri’s sensational ONE Strawweight Muay Thai World Title win over Prajanchai PK.Saenchai at ONE 157: Petchmorakot vs. Vienot in May.
Rodtang Jitmuangnon also lauded his opponent’s previous fight
The Italian-Moroccan star decimated Prajanchai throughout the nine-minute battle, forcing the Thai to quit on the stool before the third round. “The Iron Man” credits Lasiri for the victory, but he believes it was down to two things – a good strategy and luck.
“What impressed me in that fight is that Joseph was able to predict Prajanchai’s movements. He tried to get close to Prajanchai from the beginning of the fight to seal Prajanchai’s footwork. This man did his homework so well. I found that he had a great game plan,” he pointed out.
“And of course, his uppercut – that was the key factor for that victory. He was lucky to get the right timing as well.”

He will bring that same strategy into this World Title matchup, something he deems enough to gain a record-breaking 12th win under the promotion’s striking-only ranks.
“I’m not afraid of his game plan because I also believe in my adaptive skills in the Circle. I can handle him in any way,” he warned.
