The top-ranked atomweight contender understands that the in-form grappling ace brings a formidable arsenal to the Circle. And she plans to dig deep into her bag of tricks to counter anything thrown at her when they square off inside the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
“I’ll use my striking to fight with her. As usual, I will bring some of [my] heavy Muay Thai weapons to the fight,” Stamp said.

“I intend to utilize my sharp and swift weapons like elbows and knees rather [than my] kicks because I’ve seen that she likes to catch her opponent’s legs. I will kick less and use heavier and sharper weapons to stun her. And, she won’t be able to put pressure on me.”

Stamp’s concern for Jihin’s ground game is certainly warranted. Her ruthlessness while working from guard or top position has seen her leave the Circle with some impressive wins over the past five years.
The former two-sport World Champion believes that her upcoming rival will do everything in her power to take the contest to the ground, and that is an area that she wants to try and avoid if possible.

If she can navigate her way out of trouble on the canvas, the Thai dynamo promises to throw her striking artillery upstairs to push her to another victory.

And while returning to winning ways after a disappointing second-round loss to Angela Lee in their ONE Women’s Atomweight World Title tussle at ONE X in March is enough of a motivation, Stamp has her eyes on a US$50,000 performance bonus at the same time.
“Muay Thai is my strength, and [that’s what] I can do best. If possible, I want to knock her out because I expect a bonus this time,” she said.
