The untimely passing of the known MMA prospect, Victoria Lee, sent shockwaves through the MMA world recently. A plethora of fans, including a lot of noted names from the MMA world, mourned the 18-year-old’s shocking death. Lee belonged to a legendary family comprising two current ONE Championship world title holders, Christian Lee and Angela Lee. ‘Unstoppable’ publicized the news of her sister’s demise on 26 December 2022.
Recently, Angela Lee took to Instagram and thanked ONE Championship and its boss, Chatri Sityodtong, for all their condolences. She expressed her heartfelt appreciation for everyone who stood beside them in these dreaded times. However, her post also displayed her frustration about multiple media houses calling and disturbing the Lee family members for further information about Victoria Lee‘s demise.

Angela Lee started off by thanking ONE Championship and Chatri Sityodtong
ONE Championship had prepared a truly touching video of the deceased, Victoria Lee. It showcased multiple moments from ‘The Prodigy’s’ short yet memorable lifespan. ‘Unstoppable’ Angela appreciated this effort of ONE Championship in order to commemorate her loving late sister. Previously, the ONE Championship boss, Chatri Sityodtong, had also penned a Facebook post expressing heartfelt condolences for the Lee family.
Angela Lee expressed her appreciation for ONE Championship and its president, stating, “Thank you @onechampionship and @yodchatri for this beautiful tribute video honoring Victoria. This video is just a short clip of the beautiful, brilliant, kind and hardworking person Victoria was. She was down to earth, with unshakable determination and a heart of gold.”

Angela Lee also thanked everyone else for their endearing words and support, mentioning, “To our community & close friends, Thank you for your kind words and prayers for our family during this time. This has been, and continues to be, an extremely difficult time for our family”.

It was understandable that the tough times were not over for the Lee family.
Angela Lee bashed the media for invading their privacy
The final section of Lee‘s post contained some stern words for the media. The media visibly irritated her, trying to barge into their privacy regarding this issue. Lee wrote, “I ask that you respect our wishes to not give any further public statements”.
‘Unstoppable’, further took a jibe at media outlets stating, “Stop contacting us, stop hiring private investigators, stop with the conspiracy theories. Please show some respect and give us our time and space to grieve”.
The combined outburst of her frustration and grief was apparent from the final lines of her post.
